key members of the one36 computing team
Sandy Robertson is the joint owner and the founder of the business. He has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and after graduation spent 12 years with Bank of Scotland in various banking roles.
He set up Futurekids, Edinburgh in early 1999, a training company who primarily provided computer tuition to children. In 2004 he decided to broaden the remit of the business and turn it into a technical company offering computer services in addition to the training, at this time the name was changed to One36 Computing Ltd as a name better reflecting our overall services.
Within the business, Sandy has two principal functions; providing training to adults and children and running the business! When not spending time at Comiston Road, Sandy is a keen golfer, with a mysteriously reducing handicap of 7, and an enthusiastic skier.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Luffness New GC and has been appointed as Finance Director on the board of The Sportsman's Charity Ltd.
Helen Robertson is Sandy's wife and joint owner of One36 Computing. She originally trained as a medical secretary and has had a wide variety of posts over the last twenty years.
She is a qualified IFA and currently provides book-keeping services to a number of businesses in and around Edinburgh, including One36 Computing. Apart from looking after her family, Helen's principal obsession is for tennis, closely followed by playing her Cello with the Colinton Orchestra.
Jennifer Buchanan is the principal administrator and first point of contact for customers in our office. She is responsible for making sure that all other members of staff know where they are supposed to be, what they are supposed to be doing there and when they are supposed to be doing it.
Jennifer is currently studying for an Open University degree and is a proud Penicuik girl, having recently bought her first home there with her husband.
