In order to qualify for £200 of funding you must be 16 years of age or over, living in Scotland and have an income of less than £22,000 a year or less or be in receipt of benefits.
Contact ILA Scotland free on 0808 100 1090 or visit www.ilascotland.org.uk to request your application pack. You must then complete the application form and return it to ILA Scotland.
Once your application has been processed ILA Scotland will send you a welcome pack with your Account Card and Account Number.
You can either bring your card in to One36 Computing, 136 Comiston Road, Edinburgh or telephone the office 0131 466 7748 to give us your Account Number. We will then process your number and you will receive confirmation of the booking from ILA Scotland along with a “Learning Token” (see below for more details).
You will receive £200 off the cost of the training. This can be either:
Please check the exact cost at the time of booking as the actual personal contribution will depend on the cost of the particular course you wish to do and how much funding you have available.
At the bottom of the confirmation letter received from ILA Scotland there will be a tear off portion entitled “Learning Token”. This is effectively a voucher which must be handed to One36 Computing prior to its Expiry Date. Please note the onus is on you to get the voucher to us before it expires. Please remember to sign and date the Learning Token.
If you need to cancel your training session we would appreciate as much notice as possible. If you cancel your 1-1 training session within 2 working days of your appointment unfortunately that training session will be lost.
If you have not already done so, you will need to hand the trainer your ILA Scotland Learning Token along with your personal contribution. This is payable by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card.
You are given 12 months from the date of issue of your Account Card in which to use your ILA Scotland funding. You will be sent a statement at the time detailing how much you have available and when your personal year runs from and to. Please note that One36 Computing is not given access to this information and it is up to you to inform us if you wish us to process more funding before your personal year expires.
The funding can be renewed annually. ILA Scotland will write out to you when your year is coming to a close to ask if you want to apply for further funding.
